Jefferson Rounds

Mission Statement

"To empower fellow Jeffersonians with an enduring demonstration of the Jefferson spirit."

Summary

Barter is one of the oldest forms of good-faith trade; as a result, bartering networks have flourished, but only when mutual expectations are expressed and understood by agreeable parties in a swap.

Both parties are encouraged to research the subject of bartering and review the "Caveat emptor" below. **

A successful barter swap occurs when (A) the buyer willingly agrees to proposed terms that are stated by the seller on a given day, and (B) the seller issues an acceptable receipt for same. Either party in a long-term bartering agreement would be wise to consider a written agreement.

Bartering is inherently designed as a win-win, community-building event...

May our Jeffersonian spirit grow ever stronger, as we rebuild our regional economies.

** - Caveat emptor: As a baseline reference, current spot silver prices are displayed below via Kitco's 'live' spot-silver chart, which should be used only as a starting point of a potentially mutually agreed "strike price" between both parties on a given exchange. There may be external market forces that may influence subjective values on either side of a Jefferson Round transaction, such as physical supply and/or current demand and/or sentimental value, etc.

Please verify the dynamic terms-of-the-day with any 'accepting' cashier, including subjective 'value'

of the Jefferson Round and maximum percent of purchase -- prior to exchanging Jefferson Rounds.
